Ben Matsubu
Ben Matsubu of Hemphill, Texas, has been a steady competitor in the Bassmaster Elite Series since winning the Wild Card Qualifyer on Florida's Harris Chain of Lakes. His wins also include the 2007 Sunshine Showdown on Toho, and 9 top ten finishes since becoming a touring pro in 2000. He qualified to fish the Elite Series again in 2009.
Toledo Bend and Sam Rayburn are Ben's home lakes. He is a jig specialist, his favorite being the Football Jig. He is also an expert at drop shotting and big structure spoons.
